Food Truck Festival On The Ave

Food Truck Festival On The Ave

Full Day of Great Food, Entertainment, and Activities

Food truck festivals are all the rage these days. They have them in Hammonton, Sea Isle City, North Wildwood and in a growing number of places near and far. They’re popular because the food trucks bring a wide variety of good food—and the whole atmosphere and ambiance is festive.

Well, you won’t have to travel far to enjoy one of these events because I’m proud to announce the first annual Food Truck Festival on The Ave coming right to downtown Vineland on Sunday, August 6. That’s right! It’ll be at Landis Avenue and the Boulevard, rain or shine, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and, in the words of a legendary television personality of the past, it’ll be” r-r-r-r-r-really big!”

This mega-event, sponsored by Newfield National Bank, is really going to sizzle. You’ll want to come hungry for some absolutely tremendous food but, aside from the food and the beer, we’ll have non-stop entertainment and activities throughout the eight hours.

We’re still putting all the pieces together for this mega-event, but here’s what we have so far:

----We’ll have a dozen food trucks—all there to tantalize your taste buds with a variety of delicious foods. We already have food trucks from Good Food-Good Mood, Philly Fry, Mannino’s Cannoli Express, The Little Sicilian Riceballs-Sicilian Street Food, Beast of the Street, and House of Cupcakes. More are being lined up. You’ll be able to wash the great food done at a beer garden we’ll have set up.

-----A packed line-up of continuous entertainment and activities will also keep you jumping, while you’re having your fill of the food. The entertainment will be headlined by singing sensation Dawson Coyle of “The Voice”--live and in person, as they say. In addition, we’ll have other live music acts and a DJ.

To work off some of that food, we’ll also have an assortment of fun activities, especially for the kids. Games by Sam will return with merriment for the youngsters. Work off the food and work up a sweat with Mission Condition Fitness Boot Camp. We’ll also have yoga, courtesy of Peace, Love, Yoga, and other activities.

You’ll certainly want to come early and stay late to take in all the food and fun. What a way to celebrate Vineland’s birthday, which will be only two days later.

As I said, we’re still putting pieces of the festival together, so watch for more information in future columns and in the press.

You certainly won’t want to miss this one!!

This is all the more reason to make The Ave your destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment needs, as well as for fun all year round. Save money on gasoline, avoid the long lines at the big-box stores, malls, and shopping centers, and take in the rich variety of fun things to do—right in your own backyard.
